Confined to Decay is an anti-nuclear industrial/electronic band led by Liz Threshold, a 25-year-old vocalist from southern Ohio whose life was shaped by the fallout of the weapons complex near Portsmouth. After losing her father, a plant worker, to a rare cancer as a child, and later losing her mother at 17, Liz pursued nuclear engineering not out of belief, but to understand the system that had already taken so much from her family.
