The Atom Debunkers

The Atom Debunkers make anti-nuclear alternative contemporary music for the moment nuclear starts sounding like lead: not because lead and nuclear are the same problem, but because society has already seen useful, normalized, defended systems eventually become indefensible.

The Atom Debunkers are Corium Records band #48, an Omaha-based Anti-Nuclear Alternative Contemporary project fronted by Radon Wash. Built around the anchor track If it Happened to Lead, the band uses calm checkmate energy, tight funk-influenced alternative rhythm, lead-gray Omaha noir, environmental data texture, and common-sense public memory to argue that nuclear legitimacy can run out of room the way lead did.
